Required experience:
- 2-3 + years of experience in manual testing of web applications (frontend and backend).
Required skills:
- Experience in writing and executing detailed test cases, test plans, and test scenarios;
- Proficient in testing across multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and browser developer tools (Chrome DevTools, Safari Debugger, etc.);
- Understanding of DOM structure, browser dev tools, and client-side behavior;
- Deep understanding of how modern web applications work (HTML/CSS/JS fundamentals);
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design testing;
- Ability to analyze requirements/user stories, identify edge cases, and validate workflows;
- Familiarity with tools like Lighthouse or PageSpeed Insights is a plus;
- Solid experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, Insomnia, or Swagger;
- Understanding of HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE), status codes, headers, and request/response formats (JSON, XML);
- Experience creating collections and chaining API tests with authorization (Bearer tokens, API keys);
- Understanding of logs and debugging server responses;
- Proficiency in using Jira for test case and defect tracking;
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with devs, product, and customer teams;
- Upper-intermediate English level.
Would be a plus:
- Familiarity with test automation concepts and frameworks like Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright (even if not hands-on);
- Exposure to tools like QMetry or test case management platforms;
- Ability to read or maintain existing automation tests (even if not expected to write them);
- Basic knowledge of smoke testing in CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze functional requirements;
- Determine an approach, test types, and items that can be applicable and effective for the particular project;
- Creating test documentation (test plan, test cases, checklists);
- Perform manual Functional, Regression, GUI testing (Web);
- Reporting issues in the bug tracking system (Jira).
