With a degree in Computer Science and over a decade of hands-on software engineering experience, Yurii co-founded Volpis with a clear conviction: that the right technical decisions made early are what separate products that scale from products that struggle. That belief still drives how he works today.
As CTO, Yurii stays deeply hands-on — involved in every key architecture decision and every complex problem that needs untangling. He works directly with clients to understand their technical needs and leads and mentors the broader engineering team at Volpis. For Yurii, stepping back from technical work was never an option.
In iOS development, he has worked across the full Apple stack — Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and Objective-C — delivering production-grade applications where architecture directly determines long-term performance and scalability.
In augmented reality, he has led AR solutions across navigation, interior design, face filters, LiDAR-based scanning, and object tracking, with deep experience across ARKit, ARCore, RoomPlan, Unity, and Metal.
In indoor navigation, he has built end-to-end systems — from mapping and positioning infrastructure to real-time wayfinding — across logistics, airports, and large venues, using BLE, UWB, and Wi-Fi RTT.
Across all three, he has guided the delivery of dozens of native mobile applications, including products serving hundreds of thousands of active users — the kind of scale that demands getting the architecture right from day one.
