We’re looking for a Junior Lead Generation Manager to work within our Upwork channel and, over time, spearhead prospect research across other sources. You’ll assess postings, write custom proposals and messages that surface client pains, and turn opportunities into Marketing-Qualified Leads. You’ll build and enrich company and contact lists that match a well-defined Ideal Customer Profile.

Required skills:

  • 1+ year of experience as a Lead Generation Manager in a software development company;
  • 1 year of hands-on (practical) experience with Upwork: sourcing jobs, assessing fit, and bidding;
  • Advanced written English communication skills;
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and basic familiarity with mobile, front-end & back-end tech stacks, UX/UI design process;
  • Understanding of lead generation pipeline flow and experience with related tools like Pipedrive CRM system (and similar);
  • Proven ability to write custom cover letters that surface client pains and offer relevant solutions;
  • Experience gathering a database of companies based on provided Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), finding buyer personas, and extracting their contact information (email, LinkedIn, etc);
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets for data management and reporting.

Would be a plus:

  • Tech university degree;
  • Experience with LinkedIn outreach;
  • Familiarity with setting up email/LinkedIn campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Write cover letters (Upwork bidding) and generate MQL leads from Upwork channel;
  • Gather databases according to ICPs, and organize/structure data clearly and efficiently;
  • Gather lists of potential prospects from multiple channels, and find + verify their contact details (emails, LinkedIn profiles etc);
  • Maintain accurate records of lead information within the CRM and spreadsheets;
  • Achieve monthly KPIs that will be set per agreement;
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams and assist them; 
  • Proactively suggest and implement ways to enhance data quality, working efficiency, and conversion rates.
