Senior Project Manager

Required skills:
- 8+ years of Project Management experience in software development, including complex, multi-team or multi-stream projects;
- Ability to manage the full delivery lifecycle — from pre-sale and discovery to release and post-launch support;
- Strong technical background and understanding of software development, architecture, integrations, dependencies, and technical risks;
- Proven ability to work with ambiguity, changing requirements, priorities, and complex dependencies;
- Strong client and stakeholder management skills, including difficult conversations, negotiations, and escalations;
- Strong leadership and people management skills — able to resolve conflicts, address performance issues, and build team accountability;
- Advanced risk management and problem-solving skills, including experience recovering projects that are off track;
- Strong financial and business awareness — budgets, profitability, forecasting, staffing, and the commercial impact of delivery decisions;
- High level of ownership and autonomy — able to make decisions and handle complex situations without constant escalation;
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum and project planning practices, with proficiency in Jira and Confluence;
- Experience participating in recruitment and HR processes, including interviews, performance reviews, and team changes;
- Advanced English, including the ability to independently lead complex client conversations.
Would be a plus:
- Previous experience in a technical role (Software Engineer, QA, BA, etc.);
- Technical or engineering degree;
- Project Management certification (PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, PSM, etc.);
- Experience managing multiple projects or accounts;
- Experience with account growth or identifying new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Take end-to-end ownership of project success from delivery, client, financial, and team perspectives;
- Lead complex projects with multiple teams, workstreams, stakeholders, and dependencies;
- Establish structure and processes for new, ambiguous, or problematic projects;
- Manage scope, priorities, timelines, budget, risks, and client expectations;
- Own client communication, including scope negotiations, difficult conversations, and escalations;
- Proactively identify risks and drive mitigation and project recovery plans;
- Manage project financial performance, including budget, profitability, forecasting, and staffing efficiency;
- Work closely with technical teams to understand estimates, dependencies, constraints, and technical risks;
- Lead teams, build accountability, and handle performance and communication issues;
- Participate in pre-sales and discovery, including estimates, team composition, risks, and delivery approach;
- Mentor less experienced PMs and contribute to improving the company’s delivery practices.
